Prior to his professional hockey career, Vince grew up in the greater Chicagoland area, playing AAA hockey for the Chicago Chill, Chicago Mission and Team Illinois. After a quick two years playing Minnesota High School Hockey, Vince was selected 48th overall by the USHL’s Omaha Lancers in the USHL Future’s Draft.
Vince went on to play four years in the USHL for the Omaha Lancers, Indiana Ice, Bloomington Thunder and the Tri City Storm. The 3x USHL player of the week and Clark Cup Champion went onto to play his college hockey at The Pennsylvania State University. After Vince’s successful freshman year, where he won postseason awards, BIG Ten All Freshman Team and Big Ten All Second team, he attended the Anaheim Ducks Development Camp. Vince returned to Penn State for his sophomore year, where he collected 30 points in 39 games. Vince’s sophomore season saw his team fall one game short of attending the frozen four. Prior to the NCAA Tournament Vince was selected to the Big Ten First Team and the day after his sophomore collegiate season ended he signed his first NHL contract with the New York Rangers. Vince went on to play professionally for parts of four seasons in the New York Rangers organization, The Nashville Predators organization, and the Arizona Coyotes organization.
Upon retiring from professional hockey, Vince accepted his first job as a consultant for Lakonic Sports and Entertainment. After working for Lakonic Sports and Entertainment, Vince and Alex Krushelynski collaborated on an idea to change the entire sports agency world, and The NXT Sports Group was born. The NXT Sports Group is something Vince and Alex have put their heart and souls into developing and look forward to being on the sidelines helping many athletes to come in their mission’s in sports and life.
